- દર હજાર બાળકોએ બાળકીઓની સંખ્યાને બાળ-જાતિપ્રમાણ કહેવાય છે. બાળ-જાતિપ્રમાણમાં 0થી 6 વર્ષની ઉંમરનાં બાળકોને ગણતરીમાં લેવાય છે.
- બાળ જાતિ પ્રમાણ = (બાલિકાઓની સંખ્યા)/(બાળકોની સંખ્યા) × 1000
