Eligibility for TET : You must have passed the 12th standard or its equivalent examination from a government-recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. You can alternatively apply with a graduation degree or a diploma in elementary education from a government-recognized institute.

TET-1 and TET-2 Information :

TET is a useful exam during teacher recruitment. The full name of TET is "Teacher Eligibility Test", this test is about 150 marks. There are two types of exam TET 1 and TET 2 for teacher candidature in Gujarat state, this exam is organized to become a government teacher.

After the TET 1 and TET 2 examination conducted for teachers of class 1 to 8, the recruitment of teachers is done on the basis of merit. TET 1 exam is for class 1 to 5 while class 6 to 8 is TET 2 exam. Also Vidhyasahayak Bharti is for TET pass candidates.

Eligibility for TAT : You should have to complete Bachelor degree or graduation degree in any of the branch of study. Should have scored more then 50% of the marks. With the graduation degree should also have to possess B. Ed.

HTAT and TAT Information :

Similar to TET exam, TAT and HTAT exam is conducted for the recruitment of teachers, called "Head Teachers Aptitude Test". Also TAT is called "Teachers Aptitude Test". HTAT and TAT exam which are considered as important part of career are around 200 Marks. The process after these exams is also based on merit.
Passing this exam is mandatory for jobs as teachers in Secondary and Higher Secondary (Class 9 to 12).
